Dear Visitor:
In 1985 when the Foundation first published the HIV/AIDS
Treatment Directory, now known as the amfAR Global
Link, it was the only comprehensive source of information
covering HIV/AIDS. For many years this publication has remained
an important and authoritative source for HIV/AIDS information.
In recent years there has been a proliferation of HIV/AIDS
treatment education and information. Accordingly, rather than
duplicate information that is now readily available on the
Internet and in print, the Foundation has decided to cease
publication of the amfAR Global Link and the HIV/AIDS
Treatment Insider, both in print and online.
The final edition of the amfAR Global Link is
now available on CD-ROM. To get your complimentary
copy, call us at 1-800-39-amfAR or call the CDC NPIN at 1-800-458-5231.
All Treatment Insider articles are archived on this site.

We are grateful to all those who have contributed over the
years to the Treatment Insider, the amfAR Global
Link, and to its predecessor the HIV/AIDS Treatment
Directory. We are especially indebted to our medical
reviewers and to Dr. Howard Grossman and Dr. Keith Henry for
their years of helpful feedback. We also thank HIV Plus
and Impacto! for carrying the print editions of the
Insider.
amfAR would also like to recognize those who were responsible
for initiating one of the first sources for comprehensive
treatment information and to thank the talented staff who
have produced the publications in the past few years: Gretchen
Schmelz, Director; Elizabeth Paukstis, Medical Editor; Bernard
Boey, Web Developer; and Kristen Kresge, Staff Reporter.
If you have any questions regarding your amfAR Global
Link subscription, please call Tor Russell at (212) 806-1704.
We hope you continue to support the important work of amfAR.
